Facebook Pixel, Custom Audiences and Facebook Conversion
The controller uses the so-called “Facebook pixel” of the social network Facebook on this website/app for the purpose of analysing, optimising and economically operating the online offer.
The operator of this service is Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law. (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).
With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors of the online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, the Facebook pixel is used to display the Facebook ads placed by the responsible person only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in this online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products, which are determined on the basis of the websites visited) that the responsible person transmits to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is also ensured that the Facebook ads of the responsible person correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the Facebook ads can be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to the Eturnity AG website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).
The processing of data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data use policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads can be found in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel and how it works can be found in Facebook’s help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data to display Facebook ads. To adjust which types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

To send the newsletter, the responsible person requires an e-mail address. Verification of the specified e-mail address in the double opt-in procedure is necessary and signifies consent to receive the newsletter. Additional data is not collected or is voluntary. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You may revoke your consent at any time. This website uses SendinBlue / Newsletter2Go for sending newsletters. The provider is SendinBlue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. SendinBlue is a service with which the newsletter dispatch can be organised and analysed. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving newsletters (e.g. email address) is stored on SendinBlue’s servers.
Our newsletters sent with SendinBlue / Newsletter2Go allow us to analyse the behaviour of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyse how many recipients have opened the newsletter message and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked. All links in the email are so-called tracking links, with which your clicks can be counted.
If you do not want SendinBlue to analyse your email, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. Furthermore, you can also revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an e-mail to the address given in our imprint.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from our servers as well as from the servers of SendinBlue after you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
